Nepal

Nepal is the most recent country we have entered, and it has been a challenging journey due to the government's opposition to evangelism. However, we remain committed to our mission and are working to make a positive impact.

Bringing hope to the brick factory workers

Just five years ago, Pastor Amrit from South Nepal visited his brother in Kathmandu, who was working in a brick factory. The working conditions were harsh, yet employment opportunities were scarce. In response, Pastor Amrit rented land and built a small church to provide support.

The families working in the brick factory face severe conditions, earning just $1 for producing 1,000 bricks by hand each day. Children are often required to work to meet the quota, preventing them from attending school.

Breaking the poverty cycle

Ten girls have been rescued from the brick factory and placed in a hostel, where they can attend school and break the cycle of poverty for their families. We plan to extend this support to the young boys working in the brick factory and provide small grants to each family to start income-generating businesses.

Equipping poor students with new skills

Pastor James recruits students from poor or rural districts of Nepal, providing them with six months of training to become pastors, leaders, and church planters in this Hindu-dominated country. The goal is to equip them with the skills necessary to spread the message of hope and empower communities.

Promoting sustainability through vocational training

To ensure sustainability, the church planters receive vocational training to start micro businesses in their villages. This empowers them to support themselves and their communities while spreading their message.

Join us in our mission

Despite the challenges, we remain dedicated to our mission in Nepal. We invite you to join us in this meaningful endeavor and help us create positive change in the lives of those who need it most. Together, we can make a difference!
